Sprouting










Sprouts the living plant foods!  



 They are full of vitamins, enzymes and complete proteins.

They are revitalising, high energy foods. Incredible nutritious and alkalising.

Best to grow your own!! Its very easy to do in your own kitchen, all year round.

All you need is a simple sprouting kit ( see the picture above ) and seeds to sprout. Alfalfa, mung beans, green lentils, broccoli seeds. Just to name a few.

Sprouting :

Soak the seeds overnight in water.  Pour then into sprouting trays, let the drain. Place the trays in a dark , warm cupboard, then rinse them twice a day.



Most sprouts will be ready to eat in 2-3 days. Store sprouts in the fridge.




Sprouts are good in salads, sandwiches, soups. They are even great steamed or make a good snack.
